Bless you, 2014.

I wont soon forget 2014, but it will eventually end up in a filing cabinet in my mind and wont be accessed until something there is a trigger. This is a year that I can truly say I have discovered more of myself.

I turned 21. As sick as I was that day, I had dinner with my family and had my FIRST alcoholic drink. Yes, first. I made a promise to myself and my parents that I would not drink until I was 21.

Received a job that taught me so many lessons in life that I will be forever thankful for. I do not for one bit regret taking a job a Camp Walden. I learn to be more patient with people. This will be a job that I will never forget. I met some of the most wonderful people here. We've been the most ridiculous, childish, and yet the most responsible and family-like. I will not forget those who I worked and played with. Thanks to you all.

Started my fourth year at Ferris. This was one of the most stressful years at school that I have ever had. Completed my capstone class, campaigns. This was rough. My group and I created an advertising campaign for Pizza Hut and I learned more on how to work with people that have completely opposite personalities as you do.

Applied for what I thought was going to be my dream job/internship and ended up not getting it. That's okay because I am on to bigger and better things!

In the mix of all that I lost what I thought was my best friend. Changes happen and for some reason that was supposed to occur. With that happening, I met some of the most wonderful people. I am forever grateful that they are in my life.

Now here I sit, in a house that is uncomfortably too cold. Waiting for the new years to ring in. I wish you all the best in the your future endeavors. Here's to 2014 and to the coming 2015.

Me, Myself and I

1) What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?
Skydiving. I have a huge fear of heights. I don't think I could just JUMP out of an airplane. It's just not something that is on the top of my list of things to do.

2) If you had only six months left to live, what would you do with the time?
To be completely honest? I would give everyone that I have ever wanted a piece of my mind. After that, I would travel the world.. oh do I have endless money too? Haha. No but in all seriousness I think I would finish my bucket list. (check it out!) :D

3) If a front page news article was written on you, what would the headline be?
She's Done It Again.... I'm only messin'. I have no idea. Something to do with St. Jude's or photography? I have no idea! Anyone wanna make one up for me?

4) What is your biggest pet peeve?
Ooo!!! I work in a restaurant SO it absolutely drives me crazy when the money in the register is not all the same way and then all the slots are facing the same direction. I just go nuts! When I try to fix it... it just ends up all messy again! I mean how hard is it to make all the money you put in the till go the same way? Normally you are only putting one bill in there. AHHH!!! It drives me crazy just talking about it!

5) What is your favorite chick flick movie?
My Girl... is that a chick flick. :)

Or I'm sorry its a Nicholas Sparks book, but Last Song.
Ahh gotch ya! You thought I was going to say The Notebook, but no I didn't! Haha. Well that's a good one too, but not my favorite.

Sunday Social

1. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I have no clue! (I never do if you have read my past Sunday Socials) :) Can I do a meal? haha Like a 10 coarse meal? No. Not really that many. If a meal I would either do a steak dinner or an all american burgers on the grill dinner. If not a meal. I would choose Olive Garden Salad or a Red Robin Burger (not sure if its called a classic or the traditional but you get the point). I love Olive Garden and Red Robin. :D

2. What's your guilty pleasure/comfort food?

Reese Peanut Butter Cups! :D FOR LIFE. :D haha. Or the Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls. Comfort food.. mashed potatoes or macaroni and cheese

Sorry about the picture quality

3. What's the weirdest/craziest thing you've ever eaten?
Oyster Omelet Crackers.. NASTY.

4. What meal reminds you of your childhood?

I don't think I have one right off the top of my head.. OH WAIT this my be weird or unappetizing to you, BUT it would be Original Cream of Wheat hot cereal or malt-o-meal.

5. Share one of your favorite recipes and the story behind it:
Sorry guys. not much of a cook. So I really don't have one. :(

Woot Woot Sunday Social.

Sorry to make the past few post quick, but I'm just not myself lately. :(

Me, Myself and I

1. What is your biggest phobia?
I can think of two that top my list. It would be dying and small spaces. I am deathly afraid of small spaces. [Weird?] Yes, claustrophobic. I was in an elevator once and it stopped mid-floor and I FREAKED out. I started to cry and from then on I don't like small spaces. Even sometimes snuggling into bed makes me squirm and freak out.  FYI: I still ride elevators, but its tough.  I am also afraid to die. There are so many different things out there saying what it's like after life. I believe that there is a heaven and everyone's heaven is different. [My Heaven] I am just afraid to die.

2. If you could relive any day of your life, what would it be and why?
I would want to relive the day my Dad told my family that we were moving ~560 miles (10 hours) away from my hometown, my family and my friends. I would do everything in my power as a ten year old to convince him that we shouldn't and it would be a bad thing. Even thought I have met some GREAT people since I've been here, but I still would have liked living in Grand Rapids my whole childhood.

3. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be?
Well since I haven't even lived to be 25 yet I can't say I have reached an age to where I would like to stay forever. :)

4. Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?
When I had my long hair, I could do a really good impression of the girl from the grudge (never seen the movie though). So people thought I was her. NO LIE!

5. What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life?
Lullaby - Chase Coy
Two People Feel In Love - Brad Paisley
Little Moments - Brad Paisley
Old Time Rock & Roll - Bob Segar (My Family's Jam!!)

Look on my side bar for the link to the PARTY!!
