5 Ways To Win My Heart

If you are looking to win a way into my heart this is a good place to start.

1. Be dedicated to your family and show it. Don't just say you love your family, because everyone can say they are. I need you to show that you are.

2. Love yourself and know who you are and what you want. This is a tough one. Once you figure out who you are and what you want with your life you live so much easier.

3. Treat every social status equally. Whether you are the richest man on earth or you are the poorest, we need to treat them equally. Recently I read; "No matter how big your house is, how recent your car is, or how big your bank account is. Our graves will always be the same size.Stay humble".

4. Be truthful. Be true to yourself and everyone around you. You don't need to live a life of lies. It makes living difficult. You have to remember things when you lie.

5. This one is not at all like the others. Be okay with spending the day in bed watching movies, reading, sleeping. Lazy days are the best days. Don't get me wrong I love being active and going out and doing things, but I love lazy days as well. Spend time to get to know someone. Lay wake until 3 am talking about everything under the sun.

Hello There..

I am having camp withdrawals.

I keep telling myself I will blog more, but I don't.

I wish I could turn back time.

I love waking up early and going to bed early.

I dance as often as I can.

I sing so everyone can hear me, even if they don't want to.

I think we should all hug a little more.

I really like snail mail.

I need to tell people how I feel.

I should order my books so they get here on time.

I can never look at my brother with a straight face.

I like popsicle grins.

I make kick butt mini cheesecakes.

I always tell the truth.

May Goals

I have somethings to work on and I want to accomplish. Here they are:

4. Take more pictures.

Not much of a list, but its my list. :)

May Blog Challenge: Day 3

May blog challenge day 3: Things that make you uncomfortable

I am thinking about what makes me uncomfortable and not a whole lot does. While most of us will say that going to the bathroom in a public bathroom or in someone else home, I wanted to think deeper, I wanted to come up with other things than that. I wanted to see what I can think of that really makes me uncomfortable.

  1. Public Speaking
    • I fear public speaking so much. I have a hard time getting up talking. As much as people rip on me for talking a lot, which don't get me wrong I do, I cannot for the life of me talk in front of a crowd. I thought about taking a public speaking class here at Ferris, which is actually required I just got it covered by another class, to give me practice talking in front of groups.
  2. Being a third wheel
    • No one likes being a third wheel and if you do I want to say that you probably the only one. I avoid it as much as possible. I am uncomfortable when two people are all over each other or all about each other and I am sitting there trying to not get in their way. I know most of my friends do not do it on purpose, but it happens and its uncomfortable
  3. Being with people I don't know
    • Don't get me wrong I love meeting new people and that is really the only way you get to know them is at first be with them when you don't know them. Say, for example, I am sitting in a room waiting for friend (because I am picking them up or what have you), I am very uncomfortable when I don't know their family or their other friends. Most of the time I will get to know their family, but when it comes to their friends and I am getting nothing but bad vibes I am uncomfortable
  4. Confrontation
    • If this isn't a bad/uncomfortable situation to be in. When someone comes up to you and calls you out on something or say assumes you did something wrong, uncomfortable! A million things run through your mind before the person even gets to the point as to why they are confronting you.
  5. Crying in front of others
    • I say this only because I have a handful of friends who cannot stand to be around someone who is crying, which to me is very rude of them. So when I start to cry, I just simply get up and walk to a different part of the room or go into another room. If I need someone there for me I will bring them with me. Sometimes when tears just start falling and I cannot excuse myself, I get really nervous because I don't to make someone else feel uncomfortable because them I, myself will get uncomfortable

There you have it! Things that make me feel uncomfortable. There is more, but they are more common things that people would think of.

Turn Up The Jams

Everyone likes a good jam seshhh (session) right?

I got this picture/idea from a fellow blogger (you can find her here). I have another summer bucket list (Summer Bucket List) that I want to complete. This one is going to be hard to complete because of where I live, but I will try my darndest. (Is that even a word?) :)

So today my Mom, Dad and I, along with 4 students from acrossed the seas are going to Mackinaw city. My sister is also coming up to see us. We will only be gone for about 24 hours, but this is going to be a quick trip to prepare us for the (hopefully) busy season.

I already have plans for the trip. I haven't been to visit Mackinaw in about 7-8 years. I plan to wake up early tomorrow morning and watch the sun rise with my sister. Take as many pictures as I can. I bought a brand new memory card so I can have endless picture taking fun! Buy fudge. Yummy Yummy! Most importantly I plan on spending as much quality time with my family.. including my extend brother and sisters!

Hope you all are having a happy tuesday and keep on smiling. :D

                          Traveling Rules 1-3

I plan to travel all over. I don't mean just the United States, but the world. In the US I want travel to all 50 states.
                          • Rule # 1: This may be a weird rule to some but to have a state count I must pee in that state or country. If you have a dream to travel like me, you must have some "rule" to make that stop/state count. So in my case I must pee in that state.
                          • Rule # 2: Never travel alone. All my life I have been told that if I am going to go anywhere I must be with someone, meeting some one, or not gone longer than a few hours. So since I plan to travel the states and the countries I vow to never travel alone.
                          • Rule # 3:  Travel with style. Meaning visit places off the beaten path. Go to buildings and sites that most tourist dont. Yes, its fun to see all the things that people know about, but when you are traveling, ooh lets just keep it to the US, stop in those dinky little towns and meet the locals. I live in a small town, about to move away, and know that the locals are the ones to talk to. So go find the local bar or where the place is to eat in town. :)
These are just my first three rules.. HAPPY TRAVELS. :)
