Thanks to all of you read my blog!
I have a giveaway planned starting Monday for all of you WONDERFUL followers! I am having a busy weekend with work and Grace and everything else in between so I am very sorry to say that it will have to wait until Monday. Please stay tuned in for that though! I am very excited to have my very first giveaway on my blog! :D
Thanks to all of you who said, and to those who just did without saying, they would pray and be thinking about my friend Grace! :)
She is doing very well! They actually took her off of the medication for the coma this morning and she came out of it well. She is able to open her eyes and look around. She can give thumbs up on her right had side 75% of the time and 25% of the time on her left (lower on her left because that's where her clavicle is broken so its probably painful. Last I knew she was given pain medication at one o'clock this afternoon and so far she hasn't needed any more. SHE IS ONE TOUGH LADY! Doctors say she might be able to leave sooner than they had expected. :)
THANK YOU ALL!
Well sorry to cut it short but I only had a little while to do a post, but I wanted to share the news about Grace and my giveaway! :D
Leaving you with a picture of my Ellie.
Yes that is her.. underneath a couch. Silly silly girl.
Do you believe in miracles? Do you believe in the power of prayer?
Well I do.
My very dear friend Grace was in a HORRIBLE accident yesterday afternoon. She left her house at one and the call didn't go out until 2:30. She was found only 15 minutes from her house. Which means she was there for over an hour.. by herself, hurt and in trouble.
Some one on a motorcycle found her car. Thank God they could see her because she was apparently really far into the woods. I can't even imagine what it was like for her just sitting there in pain with no way to call for help. She was helpless. I can't even imagine!
As I sit crying my eyes out I try to think what must have been running through her mind. For me it would be like. Is this it? Is this my time to go? Why am I going in pain? Why can't I go painless? Well thankfully for her that wasn't it and she is still here.
I don't know how long it took the first responders to get there but by then she was unconscious. They found her with tear stained checks and a tear stained shirt. OH MY GOD Grace was in pain that she was crying.. my Grace!
They have to use the jaws of life to get her out of her car. That's how bad it was! I just recently saw a picture of what the car looked like after they got her out and I can't even imagine! Once they took her to the hospital they decided to take her to the bigger (and better) hospital two hours away.
She has a broken clavicle, lacerations, and a swollen brain. Once they got her to the hospital they induced her into a coma for a while. In about 72 hours they will start taking the medicine off and waking her up. Until then I wait.
She does, however, respond to her mom's and dad's voice also her sister's. Her blood pressure (or pulse or something) goes down when her parents talk and goes up when her sister talks. Typical sister relationship. I don't know anything else, but only positive thoughts and prayers to Grace and her friends and family.
So will you all please pray for Grace and her friends and family. I know you don't know her at all, but this is serious and life threatening. I know it could be a lot worse. Please and thank you.
First I want to say that I am not a go to Church every Sunday, read the bible, or tell people they must believe or they will go to Hell person. No that's just not me. I just don't think that going to church every Sunday, reading the bible or preaching is going to get you there. Further let me tell you that I do believe that God does exist (or some God), I believe that he created the earth and if something isn't in his plans that it's not going to happen. I believe that you can talk to God when ever you want to. You can tell him anything and he won't be ashamed because he made you the way he wanted you and what you do is in his plans so he is okay with it. [This may sound funny] I believe that the chicken came before the egg because when God created the earth he made animals, not eggs. Proof? My proof? So if you don't believe in a God, that the earth was made from rocks and the main elements. How did ROCK create an EGG with an embryo inside?
I recently just watched 5 People You Meet In Heaven. It's a book by Mitch Albom that was created into a movie. The movie came out in 2004 and I just watched it. It got me thinking what five people will I meet in Heaven? Will I meet five people? Or will I just see the light and be there?
While watching this movie I wrote down what I believe the five people taught "Eddie" the main character in the movie. [Sorry if this gives anything away, but this is my interpret of the movie.]
1. Understanding
2. Sacrifice
3. Forgiveness
4. Love
5. Washing Away Your Sins
I just got thinking what it is going to be like.
What do you picture heaven to be like?
I picture Heaven to be peaceful. I picture happiness all around. Where, if you were hurt or in pain that is no more. I there to be rivers and lake, woods to explore in, but houses and neighborhoods to come home to. I picture the gates to be made of pure gold. I picture God to have a huge dinner table to where you can come to eat there when ever. I believe Jesus walks among the angles. I see that [Like the Buddy Jewels song says] You can help the angles pour out the rain, you can get your pair of wings when you go there.
